The Best Home Workout Equipment
There are many home workout equipment products you can use to get your daily workout needs from home. With so many to choose from, it may be hard to know which ones are good, bad, cheap, or expensive. Below, I've created a list of what I feel are the best pieces of equipment one can own. They take up minimal space, are not very expensive, and they will give you the workout you want and need. Pull Up Bar The pull up bar needs no introduction. People have developed great upper body strength from this alone. Ab Wheel If I only had to pick one piece of home workout equipment for my core, it have to be an Ab Wheel. Why? Because it just works. In fact, it may work too well as beginners may find it difficult to use at first. Jump Rope When you think of jump ropes, you may have this image of boxers skipping rope at full speed in the boxing gym. They use it for good reason. Not only does jumping rope build excellent cardiovascular conditioning, it tones the whole body. Resistance Bands These things are great! They provide variable resistance through all ranges of motion. I find these superior to free weights as they are very lightweight and don't put stress on your joints in the same way that weights do. Kettlebells Kettlebells are much more versatile than other free weights; you can do creative exercises with them to develop dense muscle and superior strength. Ankle Weights Try wearing these for an hour and then take them off: You'll feel like you're flying. Doing regular exercises with these adds extra resistance for your lower body. Yoga Mat They are not necessary, but I like to use yoga mats for safety and frame of mind. Carpets and floors can be slippery. Grass can be wet, and bare ground can be too dirty. There's various reasons to use a yoga mat. Indoor Bike Trainer An indoor bike trainer can give a solid cardio cardio workout. Like a treadmill, you can avoid bad weather and stay inside to get your workout done..
